What’s involved in Business Analyst end point assessment?

The end point assessment for Business Analyst has two components. At 1st for EPA, we provide detailed guidance and resources for all assessment methods:

Professional discussion underpinned by a portfolio of evidence

EPA 1: Project proposal with presentation and questioning

For the first part of the end point assessment for the Business Analyst apprenticeship standard, apprentices are asked to write a proposal for a project that would benefit their organisation. They are asked to submit a 5,000-word written proposal, deliver a 15-minute presentation and then have a 30-minute questioning with the assessor.

EPA 2: Professional discussion underpinned by a portfolio of evidence

Apprentices are asked to submit a portfolio of evidence at gateway. This supports the professional discussion, which will be conducted by video call, one-to-one between the apprentice and assessor. It will last 60 minutes.

At 1st for EPA, we carry out remote EPA for Business Analyst. We provide flexible scheduling with short lead times for booking. We work with employers and apprentices across England.
Timescales for Business Analyst EPA

The EPA period for the Business Analyst standard is typically up to 5 months, though apprentices can complete sooner if they wish.

The project must be completed within 6 weeks from approval, with the presentation delivery, questioning and professional discussion taking place 2 weeks later.

The cost of an end point assessment for the role of corporate responsibility and sustainability practitioner apprenticeship standard is £1650.
