Digital Product Manager EPAO – 1st for EPA

At 1st for EPA we offer end point assessment (EPA) for a range of apprenticeship standards. As a leading End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO), we pride ourselves on delivering quality assessment that meets the unique needs of employers and apprentices.

A Digital Product Manager will drive and manage digital products through the complete product lifecycle. Digital products are typically systems, services, apps, websites, or software in a digital environment.

What’s involved in Digital Product Manager end point assessment?

The end point assessment for Digital Product Manager has two components. At 1st for EPA, we provide detailed guidance and resources for all assessment methods:

  1. Professional discussion underpinned by portfolio
  2. Project report, presentation, and questions

EPA 1: Professional discussion underpinned by a portfolio of evidence

Apprentices are asked to submit a portfolio of evidence to support the professional discussion. The discussion itself lasts 60 minutes, and is typically conducted by video call, one-to-one between the apprentice and assessor.

EPA 2: Project report, presentation, and questions

The apprentice will complete a defined piece of work that has a real benefit for their employer. They must then submit a 1,500 word report before delivering a 20 minute presentation and undergoing 40 minute questioning with an assessor.
