Marketing EPAO
As a Marketing End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO), we provide End Point Assessment for apprenticeships in the field of marketing. As the market leading EPAO, at 1st for EPA, we play a crucial role in ensuring that marketing apprentices meet the required standards and competencies set out in the apprenticeship standards.
Marketing EPAOs are responsible for conducting assessments to evaluate the competencies and skills of marketing apprentices. These assessments help ensure that marketing apprenticeships are rigorous and relevant, ultimately benefiting both apprentices and the marketing industry as a whole.
What does Marketing Assistant EPA involve?
End point assessment (EPA) for the Marketing Assistant standard is made up of 2 components:
- Multiple choice knowledge test
- Project showcase (based on marketing activity or support)
EPA 1: The multiple-choice knowledge test
Apprentices must complete an online multiple-choice test. The test contains 40 questions, with 4 possible answers each. Apprentices will have 90 minutes to complete the test. The test will be invigilated and recorded.
EPA 2: Project showcase
The apprentice must undertake a project based on a marketing activity or marketing support they carry out for their employer’s organisation. The showcase requires apprentices to submit a 3000-word report and 8-10 presentation slides, then take part in a 60-minute professional discussion.
Full guidance and resources will be provided by 1st for EPA, including a Marketing Assistant Toolkit that details the end point assessment and how to prepare for it.
